The solar system is very big . It consists of nine planets . Namely Mercury, Venus, Earth, mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and the burning ball of fire-sun in between them . Each planet orbits around the sun in its axis. the sun is also a star. the solar system also consists of the asteroids , satellites comets meteoroids etc . The Sun contains around 98% of all the material in the Solar System.
