Mahatma Gandhi also known as mohandas karamchand Gandhi was one of the most popular freedom fighters. He tried to save India through his policy of non violence. He was a lawyer. He went to South Africa where he learnt laws and rules and experienced the state of the poor. When he came to India he became a freedom fighter. He started many movements and strikes to get independent India. He was a great leader.

Mahatma Gandhi is father of India. When I look the photo of Mahatma Gandhi, I remember the words elegance or simplicity or peace. The principle of Mahatma Gandhi is used by the great leaders of other countries to attain freedom for their country. Since, he is in the rupee note, we can see him daily and remember all his thoughts and goals. He is not only a leader but role model for me.
