Tolerance is the state of having fair and just behavior and perspective towards the people irrespective of race, class, ethnicity, religion. Accepting the notion that people may have a different belief, thoughts, ideas, and perspective is the background of being tolerant. It makes the ability of the people to live and survive in an environment where everyone has their own opinion, thoughts, and perspective. Also at the same time, it helps in broadening the thoughts and believe of the people.
