It is quite true materialism has rotted many systems in the society. Nothing has been spared! Even the relationships have been rotted by it. Materialism has become the top priority of people. The present state of human relations is quite grim! The once quite healthy and robust relations have become quite tenuous! The canker that has undermined the strength of human relations is materialism. What has happened to human values? The morals have gone so down that prime purpose of man's existence is pecuniary pursuits. Man has stooped so low that he sacrifices even the most sacred relations for the sake of material gains. Gone are the days of brotherly, sisterly, fatherly, or motherly love. Man can break all ties of love and respect for the sake of money and property! All ethics, etiquette, decency, and decorum have gone to dogs. Life has become merely trade, commerce and profit earning. So wherever man finds some financial gain or advantage, he honors those relations. The rest is least said the better!
According to me,it is very true that the materialism is making our life a total waste.These days people value money than relations.On special occassions,people only meet each other but never talk to each other.People keep looking into mobiles.These days small children
are watching mobiles but not playing in grounds.Only a few children play together.
Even in schools,children of high societies want to stay together.They form groups and ignore children from lower middle class families.We can just imagine what kind of individuals they will become when they grow up.
These days people celebrate mother's day,Rakhi by posting selfies with their parents and siblings but they don't talk or spend time with them.
If we don't value relationships today,in old age we will only be left with money and luxuries but no friend or relative to talk to.At that time money won't matter but relations will mean a lot.It is very important in life to have a social circle and good relations with relatives.We can earn money all our lives but we cannnot earn relatives.
