Communal harmony is a necessity for any society to progress. Communal harmony can be brought about only by active involvement of the society. Irrespective of caste, creed, status, everyone should participate in the workings of the society. Tolerance is a quality that is irreplaceable in people, if communal harmony is to be established. People should understand that justice and equality can be achieved, only by living as a group that fully endorses these values.
The violence and destruction that we see around us today, is mainly brought about by lack of communal harmony. Religious fanaticism plays a dark role in most of these unpleasant and at times deadly situations.
