Answer:

Remember, you can't make everyone happy all of the time. First, you have to put yourself, your needs and your happiness above all others. Do what you need to do for you before you concern yourself with what other people may think or worry about what they might say.

This can be especially hard for those who have a personality that needs a lot of justification for what you are doing because you don't want to do the wrong thing. But relying on other people to tell you how to live your life is not a good way to approach living. Having others make decisions about your life for you takes you out of your life — and you are not the one creating your own path.

I know from personal experience that it is super hard to stop being a people pleaser — some days I just want to be told that I am doing something right. It's hard putting yourself first when all you are looking for is affirmations that you are succeeding in life and people are happy with what you are doing. But we should not rely on other people's opinions about our lives and then adjust to living "socially correct."

I know that most of us want to make other people happy and don't want to do anything to upset them or make them look at you negatively, but that means we start policing ourselves so much that we aren't original to ourselves anymore.

We get so worried about what other people will say if we do something or look a certain way that it's almost like we fall behind into the background and that isn't fair to you.
