Paragraph :
The tooth is covered by white hard outer covering of tooth called enamel. Enamel is similar to bone which consists of calcium and phosphate ions and it protects the pulp cavity having nerves and blood vessels. Calcium in food counters acids in your mouth that cause decay. It also helps keep your bones and teeth strong. Bacteria are also present in our mouth but they are not harmful to us. However, if we do not clean our teeth and mouth after eating, many harmful bacteria also begin to live and grow in it. These bacteria breakdown the sugars present from the leftover food and release acids. The acids gradually damage the tooth. The process can be prevented by adapting following measures:(i) One should rinse and clean the teeth thoroughly after every meal. (ii) We should clean our teeth with the help of brush twice a day.(iii) We should use dental floss to remove food particles. Plaque is the deposit on the teeth which helps in the storage of any unwanted substance. It increases storage of acidic substance also. It has been observed that starchy or sugary food items which cling to teeth for a long time are more likely to cause decay.

Answer:
The required correct name for the process which can be given similar to the Process mentioned in the paragraph is (c) Digestion of food
Explanation:
The process of digestion also involves the teeth. For easier swallowing and subsequent digestion, teeth break down food. The lower and upper jaws' center front teeth, known as the incisors, are used to cut and munch on food. In the back of the mouth, the molars grind and chew food.
Follow these straightforward precautions to maintain the teeth in the best possible health:
- Consume a diet high in protein, fresh produce, calcium, and whole grains.
- Eat and drink in moderation in between meals.
- Eat less sugar-laden meals and drink.
- Use fluoride toothpaste to brush your teeth and tongue twice daily, and floss once daily.
- To get frequent cleanings and exams, see the dentist.
Therefore, the correct name for the process which can be given is similar to the Process mentioned in paragraph (c) Digestion of food.
