in this poem the poetess talks about the cold weather and the rainy day that everything is wet include houses,streets, people's feet.Though they run with all their strength and protect themselves from getting wet , but they can't help it.

Furthermore,the poetess say that it's not only rain,but also snow and sleet which worsens the weather
