Answers
Answer:
There are some festivals that are celebrated by the people of all religions like Diwali, Dussehra, Raksha Bandhan, Christmas, Id-ul-Fitar, Gurunanak Jayanti, Ganesh Chathurhi. During these festivals, a mood of celebration is seen in almost all parts of India. There are some other festivals like the Holi, Baisakhi, Bihu, Pongal, Onam, etc which are basically harvest festivals and are celebrated by the respective states during their seasons, which differs from place to place. However, these festivals are enjoyed with great celebration and fun.
Apart from these seasonal and religious festivals, there are some other festivals that are celebrated all over the nation which are called national festivals. The Independence day that celebrates the day India got Independence from British rule is celebrated in all its glory with the hoisting of the flag. Republic Day is also celebrated almost similarly and we have wonderful parades which start from Vijay Chowk and ends at Red Fort, New Delhi. Another national festival that is celebrated is the Gandhi Jayanti which is Gandhiji`s birthday and the whole nations pays tribute to the Father of Nation. These festivals are celebrated throughout the nation with great pride and honor
