Factories pumped pollutants into the air, lakes and rivers with few legal consequences. Big, gas-guzzling cars were considered a sign of prosperity. Only a small portion of the American population was familiar with–let alone practiced–recycling.

We should take care of our planet and nurture it by- wet and dry waste material to be separated, the dry wastes should be used for recycling as plastics, tin cans, etc. on the other hand the wet waste such as vegetable peel, fallen leaves, cow dung, etc. should be used as manure for better growth of crops, for cultivation.
