People born in different ages are different from each other in various aspects. The world is changing at a rapid pace and thus the difference between people born in different times is inevitable. For instance, if we talk about India, people born before independence are different from those born today. There is a huge difference between the thinking of the two generations and why not? There is a drastic difference between the whole cultural, economic and social environment the two have been a part of.

See this image. Not only this.. There are many silly things which are said as Generation gap.

Once our ancestors were following family works - Like Agricultural family will do agriculture... But now every one are given equal opportunities... OKAY. THAT'S FINE!! But there must be some one or the other who do that work also right...

For instance let's take this example In Indian Society, farmers are decreasing rapidly.. They are migrating to other works in order to run their family. But if all does the same, there will be no one to do agriculture and all will say it's generation gap and They'll try to go to any other job.

Although, some are voluntarily studying for agriculture and come to villages to work as agriculture labourer. I must say Hat's off to them.

So According to me, the word Generation gap is usually said to express their unwillingness to do a thing said by ancestors...

NOTE: THIS IS MY OWN PERSPECTIVE ON THIS TITLE. IF IT MEANS SOMEONE, IT IS PURELY COINCIDENTAL.
