Childhood memories bring out the child in oneself. It helps one to live at the moment and not worry about the future. One of the best memories of my childhood was during my summer vacations. In summer vacations, my parents used to send me to my grandparent's home where my cousins used to join to celebrate holidays for two months.
This was a period I watched and learned to play and use the best of my time. There was this particular incident that I had experienced along with my cousin's sister that I considered today as daring for young children to do.
We both decided to play a race with animals or insects. Since we couldn't find any animals we decided to search for millipedes. As it was raining season, there were plenty of them. I and my cousin sister collected them bare-handed in a container and introduced them in a container containing mud water. We named our millipedes and the race was between my millipede vs hers.
We used different rounds to check who was the winner. Though I couldn't remember who won I could feel the happiness when I played with my sister. Even today when I see the millipede, I still vision this memory and laugh at myself of how things mattered those times.
