science is a boon. The purpose of Science is to benefit humanity by conducting study and research about nearly everything. It is because of Science that technological innovations are possible and the way of living has become, and continues to become, more sophisticated and convenient. Science is everything.

If its knowledge is used for negative purposes, I still wouldn’t call it as a bane. The number of ways in which Science has contributed to the world’s progress and good for the humanity is far more than the number of ways it has been or may have been misused.

Science in itself is always a boon. It is up to the people to continue to use it as a boon or turn it into a bane. No knowledge exists for an inherently bad purpose.
