the only way to tell time would be to look at the sky and use candles. life would be harder and if you had to put a timer on for one hour you would have to buy a candle that takes one hour to burn out so at the start of the hour you would light it and then when the fire dies out you would know one hour has passed. it would be inconvenient if there where no clocks and people would not be able to meet up. there would be a lot of miscommunication and schedules would be absolutely ruined.
