In a leaf, the arrangement of veins is called venation. When the veins are arranged parallel to eachother from the base to the tip in the leaf blade or the lamina it is known as parallel venation. It occurs generally in Monocot plants such as banana,bamboo grasses , maize and wheat it is the feature of leaf monocot..
