Here

angle x = angle y

(BE || TS and X and Y are corresponding angles

We know that,

Sum opposite angles of a ||GM = 180°

angle BTS + X = 180°

100° + X = 180°

X = 180° - 100°

X = 80°

angle x = angle y = 80°
