area of same parallelogram must be equal so what it's base and height collectively becomes different.

x = 24 cm

◆ Explanation -

Given that adjacent sides of parallelogram are 20 cm and 15 cm.

We know formula for area of parallelogram -

Area of parallelogram = base × altitude

20 × 18 = 15 × x

x = 20 × 18 / 15

x = 4 × 18 / 3

x = 4 × 6

x = 24 cm

Therefore, perpendicular distance from side of 15 cm is 24 cm.
