Given:-

  • Two adjacent angles of a parallelogram that measures to a ratio of 2:1

________________________________

To find:-

  • Measure of particular angle.

________________________________

Solution:-

Let us suppose the angles as 2x+1x

We already know that the adjacent angles are supplementary so they equal to 180°

According to question:-

2x+1x=180°

3x= 180°

x= 180÷3

x= 60

________________________________

1st adjacent angle:- 2x= 2×60= 120°

2nd adjacent angle:- 1x= 1×60= 60°

◇Question◇

  • Parallelogram is having two Adjacent angles and they are measuring to ratio of 2:1. find measure of particular angle

◇Answer◇

Given data:

  • parallelogram is having two Adjacent angles and they are measuring to ratio = 2:1

To find:

  • Measure of particular angle = ?

Solution:

●Let's suppose that the ratio of angles 2:1 Will be 2x and 1x.

As sum of supplementary angles are equal to 180°.

Now we will find the value of x.

  • 2x + 1x = 180
  • 3x = 180
  • x = 180/3
  • x = 60

Now put the value of x in 3x and 1x.

  • ⇒3x
  • ⇒3(60)
  • ⇒180
  • ⇒1x
  • ⇒1(60)
  • ⇒60

So the measure of particular angles are 180 and 60.
