Answer ⤵️

⇒ Draw a line segment PQ = 4cm.

⇒ Construct an angle of 45

at point Q.

⇒ Cut off PR = 4.5cm

⇒ Take P as a center with radius equal to QR and draw an arc.

⇒ Take R as a center with radius 4cm, draw an arc meeting previous arc at point S.

⇒ Join PR, PS, QS and RS.

⇒ Draw RT ⊥ PS

⇒ Measure length PS and RT.

⇒ l(PS)=b=6.3cm and l(RT)=h=2.84cm

⇒ Area of parallelogram PQRS=b×h=6.3×2.84

∴ Area of parallelogram PQRS=17.89cm

≈17.9cm
