Measure of base of parallelogram shaped tile = 24cm

Measure of height of parallelogram shaped tile = 10cm

Area of each tile = b*h

= 24cm*10cm = 240 cm sq.

Area of floor = 1080 sq. mts. = 10800000 cm sq.

Number of tiles required to cover the floor = 10800000 / 240 = 45000

So 45000 tiles are required to cover an area of 1080 mt. sq.2

Base of each parallelogram = 24 cm = 0.24 m
height of each parallelogram = 10 cm = 0.1 m
Area of each parallelogram = base × height = 0.24 × 0.1 = 0.024 sq m
Total area = 1080 sq mt
No. of tiles required =  \frac{1080}{0.024} = 45000
