It is quite interesting to see a magic show. Most of the Indian magicians move from place to place and show their tricks. As soon as the magician plays on his drum, men, women and children rush to the place selected by him for his performance. He stands there with his bag. Then he begins to play sweet melodies on his flute. His sweet tunes attract children and they gather round him in large numbers. The magician performs his tricks so cleverly that the eyes of the spectators fail to follow his movements. First of all he tosses balls in the air. The number of balls increases and thus the juggler arouses our curiosity. He eats up these balls which he shows to be solid stones. Then he takes a turban from an on-looker and cuts it into two pieces. He burns one piece. Then he produces that turban in its intact condition. This surprises the on-lookers. Then he shows a tree in the process of growing. This tree bears fruit under cover of a cloth sheet. He distributes the fruit among the crowd. The spectators are stunned to see this trick. This is nothing but sleight of hand. His witty remarks make his programme very lively and interesting. He hides a child under his basket. When the basket is lifted the child disappears. Then by his magic he brings the child under the basket. The card tricks shown by the magician are also very interesting. He has several other tricks which are equally remarkable.
