Step-by-step explanation:

As, weight of parcel A = 3 1/4

= ( 3 x 4 + 1 )/4

= ( 12 + 1 )4

= 13/4

So, weight of parcel B = 13/4 - 3/4

= ( 13 - 3 )/4

= 10/4 answer

Given :

  • Weight of Parcel A =  3\frac{4}{5} Kg

  • Weight of Parcel B less than Parcel A by = \frac{3}{4} Kg

To Find :

  • Weight of Parcel B

Solution :

Weight of Parcel B is

 \implies \tt 3\frac{4}{5}  -  \frac{3}{4}  \\  \\  \implies \tt \frac{20}{5} -  \frac{3}{4} \\  \\  \implies \tt\frac{80 - 15}{20} \\  \\ \implies \tt \frac{65}{20}  \\  \\  \implies \tt \frac{13}{4}

Weight of Parcel B is 13/4
