Answer:

5000  m²

Step-by-step explanation:

pardeep has a triangular field ABC of area 15000 msq. Medians BE n CF intersect at point O . If he uses AFOE for growing wheat , then how much area is used for growing wheat

Medians divide a triangle into 6 equal area triangles

if we Draw a line from A to point O

then

area of ΔAFO = Area of Δ AEO = ΔAr of CEO = x m²

Area of ΔAFO + Δ AEO + Δ CEO = Area of Δ AFC =  3x m²

Area of Δ AFC = (1/2) Area of Δ ABC

=> Area of Δ AFC  = (1/2) * 15000 m²

=> Area of Δ AFC  = 7500 m²

3x = 7500

=> x = 2500 m²

Area of AFOE = Area of Δ AOF + Area of Δ AOE

=> Area of AFOE = 2500 + 2500

=> Area of AFOE = 5000  m²

5000  m² area is used to grow wheat
