I don't think so that this love and care is selfish. Because they are thinking right, if they are working in the hot sund , cold winter and heavy rain and earning money just only to make us feel comfort. So, that we study or do anything like this that they fell proud on themselves and us that they are our child . You and me or anybody or everybody are wearing nice clothes only because of them. In my heart there is so much love and respect for my parents and every other parents. And your question was that they are selfish. Yes, but sometimes they scold us or beat us but only for us that we would become anything in future. I've given my view on parents and your question now it's on you
