It is true that the Parliament is the final authority for making laws in any country.
1. Parliament is an assembly of elected representatives, who exercise supreme political authority on behalf of people.
2.It is the highest, forum where report and recommendations are discussed and debated by MPs.
3.It exercise control over those who run the government as the govt is accountable. 
 4.Those who run the government can take decisions only as long as they enjoy the support of the Parliament.
5.Parliament controls all the money that government has in most countries, the public money can be spent only when the Parliament sanctions or we can say that it passes the budget.

6. all bills are presented in the Parliament which become law when passed by parliament.
7. There is no other body which can make laws for the country. This authority has been given by the Constitution.
