Hey there!!!
(A)
mass = 500 kg
Distance = 80 m
Force = ma ⇒500×10 ⇒ 5000N
now,
Work done = force × distance
∴ W = 5000×80
= 400000J
= 4×10^5
(B)
Power(P) = Work done (W) / Time taken (T)
= 400000 / 10
= 40000W
= 40kW
(C)
The efficiency of pump is 40%
power rating is:
P = F*d/(t*0.4)
= 5000*80/(10*0.4)
= 100,000 W
= 100kW
Hope it helps!!!
