Lithium, Sodium, Potassium- The group 1 metals are highly reactive and have the same valence electron

Explanation:

  • All group 1 metals form oxides that dissolves in water to form alkali
  • Since they have low ionisation energy values it makes it easier for them to lose their valence electron making them highly reactive. The ability of easily losing the valance electron makes them very good conductors of electricity
  • They are all soft, silver and have a low melting point and while forming ionic solids the alkali metals have an oxidation number of +1
