Answer:

The villagers in Hardas village faced water problem. The hand pump water has gone well below the point, up to which the ground had been drilled. They hardly got any water in the taps. Women had to walk 3 Km to get the water from the Suru river.

They solved this problem by adopting the watershed programme to conserve water.
