the given purchased price = ₹650
it's 10 percent = ₹65
Now multiple by 4
10/4=65/4
2.5 = 16.25
so we can write 7.5 as 2.5×3
then 7.5 percent= 16.25×3 = 48.75
then by the problem it was sold with profit 7.5 percent = ₹650 + 48.75
= ₹ 698.75

vamshi005: is that correct
harmindersingh73in: it is correct i cant understand solution

harmindersingh73in: please edit in easiest way i can't understand but it is correct
harmindersingh73in: how do you get 10 percent and 65
vamshi005: the given 650 is 100% then now devide by 10.so 100/10=650/10 . then 10% = 65
harmindersingh73in: okay
