Partial parasites are those which are partially dependent on their hosts. Partial parasitic plants are usually chlorophyllous therefore they are dependent on their hosts for water and nutrients only.

for example :

Cuscuta reflexa, Orobanche aegyptiaca, Striga asiatica etc.

  • Place to reside

It produces a haustorial root that helps them to draw out water and minerals along with essential nutrients from the body of host plant.

They are usually chlorophyllous in nature.
