Answer:

● When any liquid , take for example water, is cooled. So if the water is cooled the heat energy will be released.So the water become solid (ice). Now heat that ice , liquid is formed and when further heated gas is formed. So when ice is heated , ice absorbs heat energy and liquid has some energy and by further heating the liquid absorbs more heat energy and becomes gas or water vapour.

● So water at 100 degree c( more heat absorbed) have more energy than particles in ice .
