participants from China, Japan and Korea will be attending a conference. 96 of them are from China, 72 from Japan and 48 from Korea. The organiser wishes to group them into discussions group such that the participants are distributed equally among the groups. The number of discussion topics that the organiser needs to prepare depends on the number of discussion group formed.
I) what is the greatest no of discussion topics that the organiser needs to prepare for the conference.
2)how many China participants are in each group.

China: 96 = 2^5 x 3

Japan: 72 = 2^3 x 3^2

Korea: 48 = 2^4 x 3

(i) HCF = 2^3 x 3 = 24

So there are the most 24 groups, hence 24 discussion topics

(ii) Number of China participants per discussion group = 2^2 = 4
