Particle is acted upon by a constant force always normal to the direction of the motion of the particle. It is therefore inferred that :
1 ) its velocity is constant.
2 ) it moves in a straight line.
3 ) its speed is constant.
4 ) it moves in circular path.

Answer:

F=mrw^2

F=mv^2/r

Now F IS CONSTANT

Thus,mv^2/r is constant

Now r will be constant

Thus mv^2 is constant

This implies Kinetic energy I.e. mv^2/2 is also constant

Here velocity and acceleration will not be constant since velocity is a vector quantity and in a circular motion velocity will keep changing.

Explanation:

A particle is acted upon by a constant force away normal to the direction of motion of the particle.

It is therefore, inferred that,

(i) v=constant, F= constant

(ii) It moves in a straight line

(iii) Its speed is constant

(iv) Its acceleration= constant

If F=constant

F=ma

a will be constant hence (iv) is correct.

And if a will be constant, n will be constant.
