Explanation:

Distance

Diameter = 5m ...... radius = 5/2 i.e, 2.5

Now, to find the distance covered if a particle covers a circular track.,

it will be the circumfrence or perimeter of that circle, the perimeter of a circle is 2▲r

the value of ▲(pie) is 3.14

By putting the value of radius (r) in the formula we will get the distance covered,

2 × 3.14 × 2.5

=2 × 7.850

=15.7 metre

the distance covered in 3 revollutions will be

3 × 15.7

47.1

Displacement

Now its clearly understood that the displacement in 3 revolutions will be zero

Because, the particle starts from a point and then return to that point and the overall motion of the body will be zero

FOR EXAMPLE, if you start point A and after covering the distance you return to the same point A it means that the overall motion of your body will be zero .
