Answer

  • Velocity of the particle at the end of 6 s is 12 m/s

Given

  • Particle starts from rest with acceleration of 2 m/s²

To Find

  • Velocity of the particle at   the end of 6 seconds

Solution

Initial velocity , u = 0 m/s

Acceleration , a = 2 m/s²

Final velocity , v = ? m/s

Time , t = 6 s

We know that , " Acceleration is defined as rate of change of velocity "

\implies \tt a=\dfrac{(v-u)}{t}\\\\\implies \tt 2=\dfrac{(v-0)}{6}\\\\\implies \tt 2 \times 6=v\\\\\implies \tt v=12\ m/s
