Particles in a solid do not move so doesn't it contradict the property of particles of matter i.e. the particles of matter are continuously moving??

no....
it'll be wrong to say that they don't move.....
they do move...
but they just vibrate in their position...
due to havin'less intermolecular space available....
so no violation occurs

This statement is wrong.
The movement of particles ceases only when temperature is 0 kelvin (not performed yet). So you can't say particles do not move...
