Particles of matter collide with each other while moving. They should loose their kinetic energy due to collision and eventually fall down but they are in continuous motion. Why??

first thing is that when particles collide they don't loose kinetic energy. as in solid the molecules are very tightly packed but still the move and lose lose their kinetic energy so they will not fall down and it will always be in motion
