Material Required :
Salt, water, glass, stirrer, marker.
Procedure :
1. Take a glass and fill it half and fron outside mark the level of water by marker.
2. Take a spoon full of salt, and put it in glass-water now with the help of stirrer stir it properly.
3. Observe the level of water as whem water become stable.
Observation :
We observed that there is no increase in water level in glass even after we add more and more salt to it.
Conclusion :
We get on conclusion that salt particle mixed in water get trapped in intermolecular spaces of liquid or water.
Hence, this clearly indicates that matter have empty spaces between them.
