Pakistan was initially an integral part of the Indian state and this means Pakistan got a chunk of Indian villages and natural resources. In some way the economy was affected by the partition.

A lot of brave soldiers went to Pakistan as a result of the partition so the armed strength was also affected to an extent.

Insurgency was a by product of the partition and the want of Kashmir was also stemmed by the partition.

Chaos and riots were also by products of the partition.
