2. Parts of western coast and north-eastern india receive over about 400 cm of rainfall anually . On the other hand, some reigons like ladakh, western rajasthan, parts of gujrat and the leeward side of western ghats recieves less than 10 cm anually.
Thus, it can be conclude that there is a great variation in the amount and type of precipitation in India.
