Parul invested ₹2,50,000 in the stock market. In the first year, her money went down by 15%.In the 2nd year her remaining money went up by20%.Over the two year period what was overall percent gain or loss?

Then total money he had now

=15%of₹250000

=₹37500....

= ₹250000-₹37500

=₹212500

And if in second year he had a profit of 20% on the remaining money then....

20%of 212500

=₹42500

So,total money he had after profit

=₹42500+₹212500

=₹255000

So, total gain or loss

=₹255000-₹212500

=₹42500
