Answer:

Pascal's Law Derivation

Consider an arbitrary right angled prismatic triangle in the liquid of density rho. Since the prismatic element is very small, every point is considered to be at the same depth from the liquid surface. The effect of gravity is also same at all these points.

Pascal law

If the effect of gravity is neglected then pressure at every point remains same

Proof: consider a container having liquid of density ‘rho’.let ‘c’and ‘d’ be the two point seperated through distance ‘h’

Now consider a cylindrical element such that ‘c’and ‘d’ lies on cross section area

Now various force acting on the element are

Fc=PcA(↓)

Weight=mg=Ahg×rho(↓)

Fd=PdA(↑)

Now at equilibrium

Net upward force = to net downward force

FD=Fc+Ahg×rho

Fd/A–Fc/A=hg×rho

Pd–Pc=hg×rho

Now,

If g=0

Pd–Pc=0

Pd=Pc

Hence it proves Pascal law

Hope it helps you
