* It is a punishable offence to kill or maim an animal, including stray animals
* Abandoning any animal is a punishable offence
* Bears, tigers, panthers, monkeys, bulls and lions cannot be trained or used for entertainment purposes
* Cosmetic products tested on animals are banned
* Chickens cannot be slaughtered in any place other than the slaughterhouse
* Pregnant or sick chickens cannot be slaughtered
