Correct question :

Find the slope of the line passing through two points A(0,4), B(4,0).

Solution :

We know that :-

  \sf slope \: of \: line  : \\  \\  \boxed{\tt \rightarrow   \: \dfrac{y_2-y_1}{ x_2-x_1}    }

Now, we have to find out slope of the line passing through two points A(0,4), B(4,0).

 \rm Here  : \\  \\  \rm x_1 = 0   \\ \\  \rm x_2 = 4  \\ \\\rm y_1 = 4  \\ \\  \rm y_2 = 0

\tt \rightarrow   \dfrac{0-4}{ 4-0 }   \\  \\ \tt \rightarrow   \dfrac{-4}{ 4} =  - 1

Answer :

The slope of the line passing through two points A(0,4), B(4,0). = -1

\underline {  \large Additional-Information }

slope (m) of line ax + by + c = 0is :

\boxed{ \large \sf m =  \frac{ - a}{b} }

\sf \: Distance \:  between \:  two \:  points \:  (x_1 , y_1)  \: and \: ( x_2 , y_2)  :  \\  \\ \tt \longrightarrow \sqrt{{ {(x_2 - x_1)}^{2} + (y_2 - y_1)}^{2} }
