The Structure/Formula for Positive Sentences in Past Perfect Continuous form is –

(Subject + Auxiliary verb + Main Verb + Object + Time Reference)

(Subject + had been + Present Participle + Object + Time Reference

*He had been sleeping since yesterday evening.

*She had been in the kitchen for two hours.

Negative Sentences in Past Perfect Continuous Form:

*He had not been calling you for five months.
