Pâté. Delectable to some, an abomination to others. But which country is it usually associated with?

The origin of Pâté is France and Belgium. It consists of mixture of “cooked ground meat and fat”. These two are minced into a spreadable paste.  It can be served either hot or chilled for two to three days.  Mostly, the chilled one develops a better taste and flavor. Since meat and fat is added, it will not be liked by some.
