Once upon a time there was a boy who lived in hut. There was a big mango tree near his hut which he had been watering and caring for since he was a child.The tree, after many years, was finally grown up and had just started to bear fruits.
The boy was very happy as after many years of hard work,the tree was finally giving fruits. He wanted to eat the fruits as soon as he saw them but his father told him that the fruit is not ripe yet. However he was not patient and plucked one of them and tasted it. He was annoyed at the fact that the mango so bitter when it was supposed to be sweet. He asked his father about this and his father said that 'patience is bitter,but its fruits are sweet'. He could not understand the meaning of his fathers words. after some weeks his father brought him a mango from the very same mango tree. He ate the mango and was surprised as the mango was very sweet. He asked his father that how could this happen. His father again said the same thing he had said when the boy had been impatient and ate the unripe mango. ‘Patience is bitter,but its fruit is sweet'. This time the boy understood the meaning of his fathers words.
