Undoubtedly, Patol Babu was a real star. He prepares and performs the scene with the perfection and élan of a real film star. His attitude to life was that of a real cine star. He showed quite a high professionalism in playing his role. He worked very hard to give a perfect shot of his small scene. Even the actual film-stars don’t pay such minute attention to the nuances of acting as he did. Before the shooting of his scene, he practiced many times his monosyllabic dialogue ‘oh’. He went to a secluded corner and started enunciating the syllable in various ways. Along with that he worked out how he would react physically when the collision took place--how his features would be twisted in pain, how he would fling out his arms, how his body would crouch to express pain and surprise--all these he performed in various ways in front of a large glass window. As a result everyone appreciated and praised his performance.
