Solution :-

given that,

→ Before jogging Patrick drink water = (3/4) litre

and,

→ After jogging Patrick drink water = (4/5) litre

so,

→ Altogether he drinks = Before jogging + After jogging = (3/4) + (4/5) = (5*3 + 4*4)/20 = (15 + 16)/20 = (31/20) = 1(11/20) litre (Ans.)

Hence, Patrick drink 1(11/20) litre altogether .
