The number of days taken by Peter to complete the work alone is option (A) 64

Given :

Work done by paul and peter together = 48 days

Work done by Paul alone = 192 days

To find :

The number of days taken by Peter to complete the work alone.

Solution :

Paul + Peter = 1/48

    1/192 +1/x = 1/48

               1/x = 1/48 - 1/192

                     = 3/192

                     = 1/64

                  x = 64 days

Therefore, the number of days taken by Peter to complete the work alone is 64 days.
